The Woburn Summer School Program will be held at the Woburn Memorial High School beginning June 30 and running through August 1, 2008. Registrations will be held at the Woburn Memorial High School June 30th & July 1st. (There will be no classes held during the registration period). Registrations will begin at 8:00AM and end at 10:00AM. Students wishing to register early may fill out the registration form at the bottom of this article and hand-deliver the completed application to Mr. Ralph Deldon, at the Woburn Memorial High School any time before June 19, 2008.
Academic and enrichment programs for grades 6-8 (middle school) will include courses in: English; Mathematics and Science. These are mirror courses and review topics similar to those covered during the school year. High school courses for students grades 9-12 are found in the Course of Studies Manual. Courses in Mathematics; Science; Social Studies; and English are offered.
The cost of each course will be $225. For those students taking two courses the fee will be $400. This fee is non-refundable after July 7, 2008.The courses will run as follows: Session One 8:00AM to 10:15AM and Session Two from 10:30AM to 12:30PM.
There will be NO public transportation for students.
There will be no classes July 4, 2008. However, all students will be expected to attend the Summer School Program July 2 & 3. Thursday July 3rd is the first full day of classes.(Session One will begin promptly at 8:00am)
